The June to September 2026 rangeland forage prediction points to regeneration and better pasture conditions in the cross-border areas, especially along northeastern Uganda (Kaabong, Karenga, Kotido, Abim, Amudat, Nabilatuk, and Nakapiripirit districts), southeastern South Sudan (Kapoeta North, Budi, and some parts of Kapoeta East), Kenya (West Pokot and northern part of Moyale) and southern Ethiopia (Miyo, Moyale, and southern part of Dire).
